The Dionex ICS-5000 Reagent-Free Capillary HPIC system with eluent generation adds high-pressure capillary IC to an adaptable, award-winning system. Developed with flexibility, modularity, and ease-of-use in mind, the Dionex ICS-5000 Capillary HPIC system combines high sensitivity and convenience.
With the ability to analyze samples at capillary, microbore, or standard flow rates (or any combination of two, in a dual system) the system is Always Ready. With a wide variety of Dionex ICS-5000 modules, you can configure an ion chromatography system specifically for your needs.

Capillary IC - Easy Access and Usability
Scaling down from analytical to capillary scale brings many advantages to ion chromatography. One of the major values is that the system can be left Always On, Always Ready to run samples. This mode of operation is possible with capillary IC as it only consumes 15 mL of water a day, translating into 5.2 L a year, and the Eluent Generation Cartridge producing the eluent lasts for 18 months under continuous operation mode. These features bring IC to a new level of ease of use and providing what you want – Results!

Capillary IC Columns
Thermo Scientific dionex IonPac Capillary columns (0.4 mm) are packed with the same material as the equivalent analytical scale version, thus producing the same separation performance as a 4 mm column. This is ideal for method transfer as the user does not need to redevelop or validate the method. Scaling the cross-sectional area down to 0.4 mm brings many additional benefits. IC Capillary Columns
Capillary Fast IC Columns
Many chromatographic separations have far more resolution than necessary to separate and integrate analytes of interest. Optimizing column dimensions and increasing flow rate can dramatically decrease run times while maintaining sufficient resolution. Thermo Fisher Scientific has developed a new line of capillary Fast IC columns to facilitate separations up to 4 times faster than conventional columns. All Thermo Scientific Dionex ICS-5000 systems are designed to be compatible with Fast IC columns, which are available in standard bore, microbore, and capillary formats.
