Carbohydrate Columns
HPLC Analysis of Carbohydrates
The CarboPac® family of columns offers a selection of columns, each optimized for a different class of compounds. Combined with pulsed amperometric detection (PAD)—which provides a means to detect carbohydrates without derivatization—CarboPac columns support simple, reliable techniques to separate sugars.
- Sugar alcohols
- Mono- and disaccharides
- Poly- and oligosaccharides
CarboPac provides high-resolution separations of glycoprotein oligosaccharides and complex carbohydrates from dietary fiber, including fructans, maltodextrins, and amylopectins; monosaccharides, such as those obtained from glycoprotein hydrolysates or plant hydrolysates, and mono- and disaccharides.
CarboPac MA1 Carbohydrate Column
High-capacity, sensitive, rugged and reliable strong anion-exchange column for separations of reduced sugars, without the need for derivatization.
CarboPac SA10 Carbohydrate Column
The CarboPac® SA10 anion-exchange column was created for fast, high-resolution chromatographic analysis of simple sugars in food and biofuel samples.
CarboPac PA1 Carbohydrate Column
Durable column for carbohydrate separations. Use for analysis of monosaccharides, disaccharides, and for linear polysaccharide profiling.
CarboPac PA10 Carbohydrate Column
Anion-exchange column designed for isocratic separations of mono- and disaccharides with pulsed amperometric detection.
CarboPac PA20 Carbohydrate Column
Fast mono- and disaccharide column. The six common glycoprotein monosaccharides can be baseline resolved in less than 10 minutes.
CarboPac PA100 Carbohydrate Column
Strong anion-exchange column for separation of oligosaccharides based on size, charge, branching, and linkage.
CarboPac PA200 Carbohydrate Column
Recommended for high resolution separations of neutral and charged oligosaccharides. The column is used with pulsed amperometric detection.
