The UltiMate ® 3000 Nano, Capillary, and Micro LC system has been designed to optimize low flow separations and coupling to mass spectrometry. System delay volumes are minimized, providing sharper peaks and enhanced resolution. Reliable low flow rates are generated using the UltiFlow active flow split technology. UltiFlow technology is available for both single and x2 dual gradient applications. In the x2 dual gradient configuration, the first channel is operated without flow splitting and the second with active flow splitting. This allows the system to perform pre-concentration and sample clean-up steps, multidimensional and parallel separations without requiring additional instrument modules or bench-space.
The dedicated Autosampler provides precise and accurate injections, down to 20 nL, and can be equipped with the new system for automated off-line MDLC, allowing for collection and reinjection of over 1000 samples, without any manual handling.
The Flow Manager completes the effort to provide highest reproducibility, by integrating the temperature controlled column compartment with the flow-split and the micro-switching valves.
The UV Detector with dedicated low volume flow cells – 3 nL in Nano LC, 45 nL in Capillary LC, 180 nL in Micro LC, offers virtually zero dead volume, and is ideal to monitor separation results, even when using MS detection.
