Automated Application Switching with x2 Dual Technology |
|
HPLCs are commonly used to analyze samples using different analytical methods that require different mobile phase compositions and different columns. Traditionally, the process for switching applications was performed manually and required tedious, time-consuming steps like changing over mobile phase lines, removing old columns and refitting new ones, and flushing and equilibrating the system with the new eluent composition. The advanced x2 dual technology in Dionex UltiMate® 3000 systems completely automates these steps and allows systems to be switched from one application to another in a matter of minutes.
Easily switch between applications by a click on the Chromeleon® control panel Independent flow paths allow use of separate columns and mobile phase compositions Active path provides analytical flow of the application mobile phase The tubes to and from the autosampler can be washed before switching to the other application Low standby flow prevents crystallization of eluent buffers, increasing instrument uptime. Easy to use automated startup, equilibration, and standby routines are provided by Chromeleon Schedule application switching for ultimate flexibility. Run method A over the weekend and then automatically switch to method B early on Monday morning—the system will be ready for use as soon as you arrive in the laboratory.
