Inert Auxillary Pumps

The AXP is a single-piston, isocratic metering pump ideal for ion chromatography sample and reagent delivery. The chemically inert, metal-free, PEEK-based flow path eliminates corrosion and contamination problems when using acidic or alkaline reagents, or common water-miscible solvents.  The AXP-MS Digital Pump is an auxiliary pump for MS support or general metering applications. The AXP-MS has multiple uses, including: Supply of cone wash solvents tokeep the entrance orifice of the MSQ™ free of salt and matrix buildup, thereby increasing the time between required maintenance cleaning of the MSQ As a postcolumn addition pump for introducing organic additives or acid/base modifiers to the eluent stream, or reagents for the derivatization of analytes after chromatographic separation.

Digital Control and Status

The single-piston pump uses a digital stepper drive and rapid refill to deliver precise and accurate flow. Internal transducer provides pressure display and monitoring capability.

Positive Seal-Washing Standard

The self-flush head extends seal  life dramatically by removing salts and wetting the seal.

Easy Maintenance

The complete head assembly can be changed in seconds at a price similar to seals and check valves in many pumps.

Flexible, Advanced Chromeleon® Control

The AXP can be truly controlled (control/status) through Chromeleon revision 6.8 or greater. Limited control is possible using earlier versions of Chromeleon or relay control.
