The ICS-3000 begins with the pump, a completely inert, robust designed pump capable of incredible acuracy and precision. Capable of supporting microbore and standard bore formats, the ICS-3000 pump will support all 2–9-mm columns in a single, dual piston format, offering vacuum degas and quaternary gradients through a four-channel proportioning valve. These features bring excellent value to the ICS-3000. The field upgradeable pump will come in single and dual formats, depending on your needs. Pumps slide out for easy access and serviceability.
The ICS-3000 pump is a dual piston, series pump built for robustness and reliability. The robust mechanical design, together with advanced System Wellness technology, eliminates unexpected downtime or operation under suboptimal conditions. An active rear-seal wash system is standard in all pumps and ensures minimal wear on pistons and seals. Piston seal tightness monitoring (patent pending) informs you when seals start leaking, long before leakage affects your analyses, and in time to schedule replacement.
The ICS-3000 pump comes in either a Single (SP) or Dual (DP) format in the same bench top footprint. The pump is upgradeable from a single to a dual pump, so you configure your system to meet your needs now and in the future. Access and serviceability are a breeze with the slide out tray. Access all tubing and electronic components in seconds. Now changing check valves, pump seals, leak sensor, etc. are much simpler. With flow rate ranges of 0.001–10 mL/min the SP/DP pump can be used for microbore, standard, and even semipreparative applications. The pump comes with a low volume active mixer for fast solvent equilibration before it reaches the column. In addition to a linear gradient, four concave and four convex gradients can be chosen.
Features
The SP/DP pumps are completely inert, made with high quality PEEK pump heads, and mixing chamber.

Benefits of Dual Pump Configurations
Dual pump configurations provide independent pumping capabilities in the same module and space saving footprint.
- Dual analysis, such as anions and cations from a single injection.
- Sample preconcentration or matrix elimination.
- Post column reagent delivery.
- External water or chemical regenerant delivery.
- A backup pump for your primary application.
- Consumables clean up or start up preparation, preventing primary system downtime.
The ICS-3000 Pump is the best performing and most reliable IC pump on the market today—reliability you can expect only from Dionex.
