| | | | IonPac AS15 Anion-Exchange Column |
| The semiconductor and power generation industries analyze for trace levels of anions in high-purity water matrices. The IonPac® AS15 column was designed specifically for this application. Its high capacity and selectivity allows for the determination of trace-level concentrations of inorganic anions and low-molecular-weight organic acids in high-purity water matrices. Use the AS15-5µm (3 × 150 mm) column for high efficiency and fast analysis (15 min). The new smaller diameter resin technology provides faster analysis time, reduced eluent consumption, and increased sensitivity. - Use the AS15-9µm (2 × 250 and 4 × 250 mm) columns for higher-capacity applications (25-min analysis time).
Column selectivity is optimized for a 30 ºC operating temperature to ensure reproducible retention times. Superior retention and resolution is attained of early-eluting anions, including fluoride, glycolate, acetate, and formate. Simplified Reagent-FreeTM IC operation is provided by the EG40 or EG50 Eluent Generators, or the RFC-30 Controller, which requires only a deionized water source to produce potassium hydroxide eluent. The IonPac AS15 column is a high-capacity, hydroxide-selective, anion-exchange column designed for the determination of trace-level concentrations of inorganic anions and low-molecular-weight organic acids in the high-purity water matrices encountered in the semiconductor and power generation industries. This column is ideal for use with large-loop injections. Use the AC15 concentration column for optimum recovery and precision of ultratrace (ppt) analyses. Use with the EG40 or EG50 Eluent Generator for simplified eluent preparation. Use the Anion Self-Regenerating Suppressor (ASRS® ULTRA) with the AS15 column. | | IonPac AS15 Anion-Exchange Column Specifications | | Dimensions | IonPac AS15 Analytical Column: 2 × 250 mm, 3 × 150 mm, and 4 × 250 mm IonPac AG15 Guard Column: 2 × 50 mm, 3 × 30 mm, and 4 × 50 mm IonPac AC15 Concentrator Column: 2 × 50 mm and 4 × 50 mm | | Maximum operating pressure | 4000 psi | | Mobile phase compatibility | pH 0–14; 0–100% HPLC solvents | | Substrate characteristics | Bead Diameter: 5 µm (3 × 150 mm), 9 µm (2 × 250 mm and 4 × 250 mm), 13 µm (AC15) Pore Size: 100 Å (AS15, AG15), microporous, <10 Å (AC15) Cross-Linking (%DVB): 55% | | Latex characteristics (AC15) | Latex Cross-Linking: 6% Latex Diameter: 85 nm | | Ion-exchange group | Surface-functionalized with alkanol quaternary ammonium ion (AS15, AG15) Latex-functionalized with alkanol quaternary ammonium ion (AC15) | | Functional group characteristics | Medium-high hydrophobic (AS15, AG15) Very low hydrophobic (AC15) | | AC15 void volume | 2 × 50 mm: 9 µL 4 × 50 mm: 210 µL | | Column construction | PEEK with 10-32 threaded ferrule-style end fittings. | SRS 300 | | The Self-Regenerating Suppressor, (SRS® 300), is used for electrolytically regenerated suppression of ion chromatography applications requiring high capacity, fast start-up, and sensitivity. |
| RFC-10 and RFC-30 | | Want to stop manually preparing eluent and regenerants? Reagent-FreeTM IC with Eluent Generation (RFIC-EGTM ) systems reduce errors and provide consistency in your results, all by just adding water. The RFC-30 allows users to upgrade existing systems to RFIC-EG systems at a reasonable price. |
