The IonPac^® CS14 is a moderate-capacity, cation-exchange column designed for the determination of aliphatic amines, aromatic amines, polyamines, and quaternary ammonium ions in diverse sample matrices, including chemical additives, chemical process solutions, scrubber solutions, plating baths, and wastewater. The CS17 column is the recommended column for hydrophobic and polyvalent amines.

The CS14 column can be used for amine separations, including aliphatic amines, aromatic amines, and polyamines.
The CS17 column is recommended for hydrophobic and polyvalent amines.
The CS18 column is recommended for polar amines including alkanolamines and methylamines.
The CS18 column can be used for moderately hydrophobic amines inlcuding biogenic amines and alkyldiamines.
Sample matrices include environmental waters, power plant waters treated with ammonium, morpholine or ethanolamine, chemical additives, chemical process solutions, scrubber solutions, plating baths, and industrial solvents.

The CS14 column can be used with isocratic or gradient methanesulfonic acid or sulfuric acid eluents to resolve a variety of amines from the Group I and II cations. Solvent and elevated temperature may be required for efficient elution. Use the Cation Self-Regenerating Suppressor (CSRS^® ULTRA) with the CS14 column.

CS18 Column

The new IonPac^® CS18 is a moderate-capacity cation-exchange column recommended for the separation of polar amines including alkanolamines and methylamines and moderately hydrophobic amines including biogenic amines, diamines, and polyvalent amines using simple aqueous eluents and elevated temperature.

CS17 Column

The IonPac^® CS17 is recommended column for hydrophobic and polyvalent amines, including biogenic amines amd diamines.

SRS 300

The Self-Regenerating Suppressor, (SRS^® 300), is used for electrolytically regenerated suppression of ion chromatography applications requiring high capacity, fast start-up, and sensitivity.
