IonPac AS14 Anion-Exchange Column

The IonPac® AS14 anion-exchange column is designed for fast analysis of the common inorganic anions in diverse sample matrices. The AS14A is the newest carbonate-based column recommended for fast analysis of inorganic anions.

  • Common inorganic anions are resolved in 13 min using an isocratic carbonate/bicarbonate eluent on the AS14 column.
  • Sodium tetraborate gradient optimizes difficult separations including resolution of fluoride, glycolate, acetate, and formate.
  • This column meets or exceeds U.S. EPA Method 300.0 (A) performance requirements.
  • The AS14A column can also be used for fast analysis of inorganic anions.

The IonPac AS14 is a moderate-capacity, carbonate-based, anion-exchange column designed for the fast, isocratic separation of inorganic anions, including fluoride, chloride, nitrite, bromide, nitrate, phosphate, and sulfate using a carbonate/bicarbonate eluent coupled with suppressed conductivity detection. The inorganic anions can easily be determined in drinking water, wastewater, foods and beverages, scrubber solutions, and other diverse sample matrices.

The AS14 provides improved peak resolution and retention of fluoride, and is targeted to directly replace the IonPac AS4A, AS4A-SC, and AS12A applications, providing equivalent linearity and precision. For simplified operation, use the AS14 Eluent Concentrate and the Combined Seven Anion Standard. Use the Atlas® Anion Electrolytic Suppressor (AAESTM) with the AS14 column for low-noise operation.
