The IonPac® AS9-HC anion-exchange column is specifically designed for trace bromate in drinking water. This column's high capacity and selectivity allow for the determination of bromate in drinking water at the low-µg/L level. The AS9-HC is the specified column for U.S EPA Method 300.1 and 317.0. - Use the high-capacity AS9-HC column for the analysis of oxyhalides and inorganic anions in complex sample matrices.
- The AS9-HC provides a simple, isocratic method for trace bromate (5 µg/L) in ozonated drinking water matrices.
- The high-capacity AS9-HC column is ideal for difficult applications, such as trace nitrite in complex sample matrices including meat and milk products, fertilizers, soil extracts, and wastewater.
- The AS9-HC provides improved separation of bromate/chloride, chloride/nitrite, and chlorate/nitrate analyte pairs.
The IonPac AS9-HC is a high-capacity, carbonate-based, anion-exchange column with selectivity similar to the AS9-SC column. The AS9-HC column is also designed for the analysis of oxyhalides and inorganic anions, including fluoride, chlorite, bromate, chloride, nitrite, bromide, chlorate, nitrate, phosphate, and sulfate. But this column has higher capacity and provides improved separation for trace bromate in drinking water matrices using an isocratic carbonate eluent and a large-loop injection. The AS9-HC also offers improved retention of fluoride out of the water dip. Increased retention time (approximately 22 min) is due to the high capacity (190 µeq for 4 × 250 mm) of the column. The AS9-HC is specified in validated methods such as U.S. EPA Method 300.1 and 317.0 and meets or exceeds the performance requirements of these methods. Use the Atlas® Anion Electrolytic Suppressor (AAES®) with the AS9-HC column. |
