| The Rapid Separation Autosampler is an essential component of the UltiMate® 3000 Rapid Separation LC System and can be operated at ultrahigh backpressures. Unlike other UHPLC autosamplers, the Rapid Separation Autosampler can inject sample volumes up to 100 µL at pressures up to 800 bar (11,600 psi). An optimized rotor seal design (patent pending) ensures very long life times of the rotor seal and stator even when working at continuously high pressures. The wide injection volume range of the RS sampler makes the module suitable for both UHPLC and conventional HPLC applications. For highest separation quality, the sampler offers minimal gradient delay and low extra column volumes which mean high efficiency separations and short chromatographic run times. The sampler uses an in-line, split-loop injection principle where the needle and sample loop are integral parts of the high-pressure fluidic path. This ensures 100% transfer of the sample volume and virtually eliminates carryover between sample injections. The UltiMate 3000 Rapid Separation Autosampler is strongly recommended for ultrahigh pressure, high-throughput and high-resolution applications.
